The short term international plans are excellent alternatives in case you don’t know exactly when you’re leaving the US, where the yacht will be traveling, or if you’re between boats. These plans cover Non-US citizens in any country other than their home country, (home country riders are available), and they cover US Citizens outside of the US. Short term international plan usually cover doctor visits, (not routine physicals), prescriptions, hospitalization, air evacuation, accidental death/dismemberment, and some travel services.

Health Insurance Deductible
The plans are simple and easy to understand. You pick a deductible for the policy period, that you’re responsible for paying if you use the plan. The higher the deductible, (or the more you pay), the lower the premium, and the lower the deductible, (the more the insurance company pays), the higher the premium is.
You don’t have to use a network, feel free to go to any doctor and any hospital worldwide!
